According to the FBI, millions of Americans fall victim to some type of financial fraud. Elderly individuals make up the majority of victims though people of all age groups are susceptible. In 2023, seniors in the US lost $3.4 billion dollars to fraud, a 14% increase from the previous year. This presentation is designed to bring awareness to the issue, discuss types of fraud, show what frauds can look like, and provide recommendations to avoid them.
