We are now accepting applications to join our synagogue's volunteer security team through Community Security Service (CSS). In order to be a certified volunteer you will need to participate in a 2-part training: Part 1- ONLINE: Self-paced online training  (will take between 3-4 hours). To take this course, please register using link below (orange button). If you participated in Usher and Greeter training, please use the SAME email you used when registering for it.   When asked if our synagogue has a team choose the option TEAM IN PROCESS  Part 2- IN-PERSON: Practical certification (6 hours long) – This training will be two 3-hour sessions at 6-9pm on Monday, January 12th and Tuesday, January 13th at Congregation Torah Ohr. *** NOTE*** To attend the in-person certification you need to have completed the online training Apply to become a CSS volunteer HERE REGISTRATION PROCESS DETAILS Fill out the form via orange button above. Upon approval, you will receive a DocuSign email with a link to complete CSS’s volunteer agreement. You will need to sign the agreement electronically. Complete the online training and participate in the in-person certification to review the online course and role-play live scenarios in order to become a CSS Volunteer.
